Core-apps is the leading provider of technology for the Trade Show and Events Industry specializing in robust event apps designed to be scalable, innovative and cost effective. Our company supports more than 50% of the Top 250 Trade Shows and is the only technology platform offering Event Apps, Event Management Software, Beacons and Kiosks as 4 tier-one solutions. Founded in 2009, the company is headquartered in Arnold, Maryland and serves customers around the globe.
Company History
Core-apps provides leading, cutting-edge software and technology solutions to the Events Industry. We partner with close to 1000 individual customers and provide technology solutions for more than 50% of the Top 250 Trade Shows, Expos, and Conferences in the country. We’re global in that we’ve produced apps for customers and programs in 20 different countries, and in 13 different languages. While our headquarters is based in Maryland, Core-apps employees work virtually throughout the US.
Core-apps is constantly updating its products to address clients’ needs and the ever-changing events industry. All product development is done in-house using our team of 50 employees. In 2012, Core-apps added an association app to help communicate with attendees and members 365 days a year. In 2013, we released Wayfinder kiosk software and purchased GoExpo, which provided us with event management software to round out a “total solution product” portfolio. In 2014, we launched our Total Tech Services offering, which provides live/recorded floor metrics, indoors location services, iBeacon, exhibitor booth stats as well as live polling. In 2015, we implemented contextual help features. In 2016, we purchased second screen Conference Notes presentation software from AstraZeneca. In 2017, Core-apps released Showcase XD, a Digital Product Catalog designed for exhibitors. And most recently in Q4 of 2018, Core-apps has become the first mobile app provider to introduce an Augmented Reality product: COREality.
