Description
Luddy is seeking a Part-Time Graduate Recruitment and Admissions Assistant to support the growth of our online graduate and certificate programs. This position is crucial to the success of the program in terms of finding prospective students and engaging them in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will several on-going and overlapping tasks including managing recruiting events, communicating with prospective students and current applicants, managing the overall student pipeline, and providing support to the admission process.Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Reports to the Director of Online Education and will work in a team environment.
- Strategically designs, plans, and executes events pertaining to graduate recruitment and admissions efforts, e.g., career fairs, information sessions, graduate school fairs, online learning sessions, conference exhibits, etc.
- Coordinates and/or attends professional and student events where prospective students are in attendance, i.e., meetings, conferences, symposiums, networking events.
- Coordinates with Director regarding marketing strategies for specific groups, i.e., current students, graduated students, professionals and corporations.
- Coordinates with Luddy staff and faculty to organize online events pertaining to prospective student questions and early advising.
- Coordinates involvement with current students and alumni in recruiting events.
- Assists in utilizing the CRM or Slate system to create email journeys, track interactions and collect data pertaining to prospective students.
- Assists with reporting metrics related to tracking event attendance and lead conversation rates.
- Provides prompt follow up to leads and student questions via phone, text, email or online meetings.
- Provides admission advising to prospects.
- Reviews applications for completeness and requirements.
- Provides outstanding, enthusiastic customer service when promoting our school and programs.
- Resolves questions and concerns from prospective students, faculty, staff/campus partners, by explaining Luddy's admissions processes and criteria to apply.
- Provides presentations to local employers regarding continuing education opportunities.
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all documents, information, and records.
- Responds to phone and email inquiries on admissions process and status of applications.

EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
- Bachelor's degree
Required
- 2 years of office or related experience
- Experience working in a university setting

- Demonstrates a high commitment to quality, attention to detail
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient In Microsoft Office or other office platforms/systems

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Some travel is expected and may occur on evenings/weekends

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
