Location: This position is only located in the Chicago, IL or Washington, DC office

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will manage and assist with various responsibilities related to NAR’s Marketing Initiatives and serve as in-house consultant to other NAR teams and Associations.

S/he thrives at multi-tasking, keeping projects organized and moving forward. Up-to-speed on current Marketing software and analytics that make day-to-day responsibilities more efficient, you’re a self-starter, able to own projects when the opportunity arises, but comfortable following the lead and vision of the Marketing Managers.

The ability to learn NAR programs and initiatives, accurately communicate that information to members and navigate others through Marketing-related events is a big part of this role. The Marketing team leads by example with strong communication/presentation skills.  We value individual contributions, teamwork, fresh ideas and best practices.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend marketing and communications plans.
  • Coordinate distribution of marketing materials managed by the Marketing team
  • Manage PowerPoint presentations for conferences and marketing events.
  • Manage select schedules of media launch points including submission of approved launch messages through various NAR communication vehicles including
  • Seek vendor quotes for design and printing; order print materials, flyers, etc.
  • Provide marketing support and assistance in coordination of all aspects of the internal and external event/booth communications.
  • Manage logistics for NAR events including training, staffing of NAR booth and shipping of booth materials.
  • Create traffic reports using analytic tools such as Adobe Analytics, Hootsuite, and Excel.
  • Track success of marketing campaigns across all digital marketing channels including social media data, and email marketing data.
  • Synthesize analysis to provide insight on campaign performance on all marketing channels.
  • Assist with creating/editing content, marketing materials, marketing campaigns, email blasts, launch points, announcements, etc.
  • Maintain channel distribution on behalf of Marketing team for all promotions.
  • Other duties, as assigned. 


Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of Marketing experience
  • Strong writing & communication skills for multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Experience with Digital & Event Marketing 
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • A solid understanding of how to maintain a consistent style and voice
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of digital analytic software
