Job Responsibilities:

This position provides administrative support for the division, and is responsible for the general customer service for annual meeting registration and housing, support for travel for ADA staff and vendors for annual meeting, reconciling and invoicing for annual meeting hotel / vendor invoices, support for the department / division in department of Conference Services and Meeting Planning as well as the support for Transportation Services. This position is responsible for the coordination of group housing for ADA internal meetings as well as back up support for the transient hotel program offered to ADA members. This position also provides backup support for the ADA conference center as well as other projects as assigned.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three years of experience in customer service / administrative and/or meeting planning or other related work experience.
  • Excellent time management skills, organization, verbal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and related expenses, be detail oriented and deadline focused.
  • Ability to travel for annual meeting, (approximately 10 days).

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience with association and working with volunteers.
  • Experience in managing housing blocks, CMP and/or CMM designations.
  • Participation in meetings industry organizations such as PCMA, MPI or ASAE.
