Somerset Savings BankDescription:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to meet Bank objectives while ensuring integrity of the Bank's branding.
Direct development of the Bank's annual marketing plan—an integrated program that may include radio, print, outdoor, direct marketing, online marketing, sales collateral, point-of-sale marketing and branch/community events—to achieve Bank's strategic initiatives within designated budgets.
Collaborate with the Bank's advertising agency of record to develop and execute the marketing plan, and serve as primary liaison between the Bank and advertising agency.
Oversee Bank's primary and secondary research efforts. Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitive data and make proactive changes to the Bank marketing plan.
Oversee maintenance and use of the Bank's Marketing Customer Information File. Identify target customers and market segments in order to properly position products in the marketplace.
Develop and implement appropriate sales strategies and programs to support the Bank's objectives.
Oversee development and implementation of marketing content for the Bank's website as well as the Bank's Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing programs.
Serve as the Bank's gatekeeper for social media and website content and as primary liaison with the Bank's website provider.
Plan, organize and attend community event marketing programs.
Develop and maintain a favorable public relations climate with the community.
Serve as Bank spokesperson and Chief Information Officer.
Disseminate press releases for the Bank and SR Bancorp as requested by the CEO, COO or CFO in order to satisfy SEC disclosure requirements.
Serve as Officer and Designated Responsible Licensed Producer with Life Insurance Authority for Somerset Consumer Service Corporation, a subsidiary of the Bank; maintain a valid New Jersey Insurance Producer License with Life Insurance Authority. (Can be obtained post-hire)
Travel to Bank or other locations within the Bank's trade area to ensure successful completion of marketing programs.
Requirements:Qualified candidates for the Marketing Manager role must have at least two to four years of experience in the marketing field. Banking experience and/or a Bachelor's degree in a marketing, advertising, public relations, business or related field is preferred.
This position is onsite @ 220 West Union Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ; not a remote role.
